It depends on the quality of the camera and the ability of the operator.

I decided to use 2 students of photography. However, photographs taken pictures of my sister with my digital camera were excellent Cheapo. You know what portraits, to do something that students know how the photography is done.

If the official pictures are not the beginning and the end for you and you've got some people who will only consider working with your digital camera. It would be good with, but my girlfriend wanted to "better" pictures and the guests do not want to lose anything.

It was a wedding on a budget and everyone says that my "price is" in harmony with it. My sister spent $ 1500 for the photographer and got rid of almost all photos 7 years later, after her divorce. Ouch. The only ones who are held without deduction, or his mother.

In my opinion, is to document as much money on this day that really worth the extra cost and preserve the memories of the best photos. In a normal digital camera to capture losing clarity, focus and good lighting for a professional camera. Of course this is assuming you are using a professional photographer, I also recommend. With an anchor photographers moments can lead to significant losses, interruptions, so the time was lost and confiscated their work eventaully general disappointment and regret not spending the extra money for a good photographer.
